I don't know too much about it, but is there a new product on the market that claims to seal a head gasget that has gone?

Has anyone else heard about this?

Haven't heard of it but personally, I would rather change the head gasket than put some stuff in the oil or water to seal up the leak.

There's a few, Steel Seal is the most "famous" one.

In this video I did discuss how Steel Seal, and other fixafluids, are no good, but since posting this video, my opinion has greatly changed on how well Steel Seal really works. I'm now for it for many different situations, but I do believe a lot of the time it is a good idea to go ahead and just change the Head Gasket.

We had a Focus in a couple of weeks ago for head gasket replacement after the owner tried to "fix it" using that steel seal shíte.

The usual rule applies when it comes to this. If something seems too good to be true then it generally is.
