Did you see this place opened the other day? (photos from Arcade Otaku)

I wonder are the Jaleco Pony IIs they rescued from the Troc on site here?

Must drop in next time I'm over in London :)

I was hoping there were more cabs around the corner full of shmups! :)

There are only photos there of the Versus Citys, so who knows, maybe there are more.

Ah hah! found these on their Facebook page. Not many, but there's a couple of vertical NNCs there

    Less effort to type. :)

It's good to see a new arcade open though.

Far too bright for an arcade. Everyone knows Japanese ones are smoky, dank places, and that's all part of the charm :p

This place has 'windows', which is against the tried and tested Japanese method of precluding as much sunlight as humanly possible.

Ah I'm just winding you up :p I'd never heard the term until I read Pyong's 'zine. Which I found a bit strange as I've been playing shmups for years.

It's no Arcade Street in Paris, but it's not a bad start. They have some great cabs which were saved from the Troc and Casino, seem to be a little limited on floor space after moving to London.

So, you shag but then your willy turns necrotic and falls off, wow, that's some serious consequences right there!
    So, safe sex for all!

It's primarily a place for FG games, including tournaments- it even has facilities for travellers to sleep on site- but has plenty of others too.

The guy who owns it has been kinda courting some of over in shoryuken land to come over for a tournament, I'll let ye know in case some of you'd like to come :)

Looks nicely set up for SF3 with the vs cabs but what's the crack with SF4 doom?
Hope they play the tournies on the Viewlixs.
I can only see one cab in the shot

I think they're reserving the cabs for old games & playing SF4 on console for now.

I seriously doubt any SF4 tournament outside of Japan will ever be played on a cab outside of as a gimmick, too many pad warriors floating around these days.
