I have a black rapid strap and have also had the cheaper versions that are available on eBay, great straps both of them the only thing I will say about the cheaper version is the clip (carabiner ) is not very secure . To get round this you can buy a black rapid carabiner and it will still be cheaper than a black rapid.
Very comfortable to wear, I don't think I will ever go back to a neck strap.

Have a black rapid too. Always wondered why canon and nikon spend millions developing camera technology but never realised their strap system was so bad.
Black rapid is 100 times better, a bit pricey for what it is, but don't skimp on a cheapo version

Sun Sniper also do similar stuff. I use it regularly and it is top dog. Can get single camera and dual camera harnesses. I was using a harness only a few weeks back. Had the cameras on me for 7 hours one night and although I was fecked afterwards their ease of use made chopping and changing cameras so rapid.

As I mentioned in one of the other threads I bought a Black Rapid and LOVE it. I'd totally recommend it/any brand sling shot.

I went with BR over a cheap Ebay one just for peace of mind.
Buy one, you won't look back.

I just got delivery of this: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/271079363230?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
For €20 you're not going to get much better value. I cannot see how spending 4x as much could be worth it for me personally right now...

I bought mine from the UK so it was about €60. Still a lot more expensive.
the way I looked at it- if I was doing a bungee jump would I use the standard rope or the more expensive one with a bit more security?

I used to use the double Blackrapid harness for shooting weddings and regulary had over €10K worth of gear hanging off them, no way would I go cheap on something like that

I used the Lowepro Slingshot, but didn't like it. I found the weight distribution was all off, it felt like I was being twisted backwards, like I had a small child pulling at my back.

I would definitely try before you buy, these bags are not cheap so you don't want to end up with something uncomfortable.

Just got Blackrapids latest edition to ther family, the Yeti. so far ijust had a mess with it, bit I'll put it to the test at a wedding later in the week. It's a 2 camera sling, with the idea of a heavy and light camera combo, so going to try it with the 70-200 and fisheye/50f1.4. Will throw a few words up on it's performance after
