how to erase evidence that a demo version of a software package was installed

    as the title says, Im trying to erase evidence that a demo version of a software package was installed on my PC

    I have done a search on the harddrive but can't find anything

    anyone any ideas

    running windows 7

    With DBAN, you'll have a 99.99% chance to destroy all evidence beyond forensic recovery. Of course, you'll have to backup your personal files reinstall the operating system. :D

    Or are you just looking for a way to "reset the timer" and use the demo over and over again? ;)

    This seems a bit dodgy so I'll close it. If you need to further trial the program op I would contact the software publisher for assistance, some may provide you with a trial extension key, depending on the product
