Club hire Portugal

Hi,

Has anyone any recommendation for golf club hire in Faro/Villamoura? Having done a search there seems to be a shop in Faro airport doing decent club hire and the cost seems to be around the same as the cost of transporting our own clubs as part of a group as part of our airline ticket. Has anyone used this service or hired clubs in the Algarve in general and would they recommend it over carrying our own clubs?

can highly recommend clubstohire. we had a group of 14 last october and a group of 12 next month and the service is superb.

clubs available when you arrive bags tagged. no problem.

and they are an irish company with paul mcginley involved.

clubstohire.com is what you are looking for. Great service and top notch clubs. I have used them myself loads and will be using them next week and next month. As with all hiring - cars/tools/golf clubs etc - the penalties for damage/loss can be severe. I would advise taking out the optional insurance. I had to use it once when a shaft broke when I had a set of clubs. It only cost me the price of the insurance.

I can also recommend clubstohire.com, I used them here when my brother came over for a week, flight was arriving late so they delivered the clubs to my place one day early and we had the clubs for an extra day as well. Great service and the set of clubs were practically brand new.

I dealt with Algarve Golf Club HIre long before the others jumped onto the band wagon. I found them to be a great crowd to deal with. Delivered the clubs to the course for us 1/2 hour before we were due to play as we were going to the course straight from the airport, brand new taylormades and when we were leaving 4 days later, we just had to leave them in the lobby of the hotel and they collected them, fantastic service I thought

where are u playing in the algarve, and how much you pay ?

Morgado and Almos are ok for a twilight fee of €30 start at 2pm

Used clubs to hire last October, 5 of us, great sets, couldn't recommend them highly enough.
