    Thanks for your recommendation. May I ask why is that one much better than any of the ones above. I dont think I can stretch to the cost of that one, as by the time I buy the memory card, and bag it would add a good bit more?

    much better CMOS sensor on the HS30 and far better spec camera in general. i'll go into more detail tomorrow when I get a chance.

    Would it make much of a difference that its refurbished, my friend said the same as you that it is much better, but he was not sure what was meant by refurbished.

    Refurbished from Fuji still have 12 months warranty so have no fears. I've bought of them loads of times and found the cameras spotless. They might as well be new.
    "From time to time, limited quantities of FUJIFILM digital cameras are returned to us by UK retailers. Every camera that is returned in this way is extensively inspected and tested by FUJIFILM's trained technicians.

    Refurbished digital cameras may exhibit some minor cosmetic imperfections such as scratches, marks or discolorations but these in no way impair camera operation."
