Wouldn't get caught up in the whole female specific road bikes, pretty much the exact same thing as a normal one just generally more expensive, are you using the bike to work scheme or anything? If not your best value will be from the Web with brands like canyon

    I bought a cube axial and I love it. It's €1,199.

Go with something that is comfortable to cycle.

Yep, Bike to work...liked the felt, I think it was a mans Bike, the guy in the shop also said that was no bother. Felt was lightest of the ones he showed me and its from a good local dealer in the midlands, thinking of servicing in the future.

Look into eurocycles and look at 2012 models they are usually cheaper, I got a bh 7.0 for €999 was €1300 very light weight, there are no ladies bikes really anymore u need to get fitted on the bike and u get the right frame size for you, road bikes are probably 90% unisex anyway

I had a Z85, very good bike. I'd imagine you should be able to haggle a slightly better price than €1,200 though.......

I reckon at that price you'd better off looking at the like of Ribble and Planet x for a carbon bike.

The planet x Pro Carbon Rival is €1184 right now and the Ribble Evo Pro Carbon comes in at just under €1200 with a tiagra groupset.

Both are very decent frames for the money.

After that if I was looking for a alu frame I'd be looking more towards the likes of the Giant Defy or Cannondale CAAD8/10 or the Canyon Roadlite or Roae Pro.

:o:owell i took the new t105 out today didn't get as far as id like to have as the wind was severe and things felt a bit hairy at times. but can't fault the bike. it felt comfortable to ride the gears were smooth and it felt firm and stable. I should point out though that i havent been cycling in years so anything built in recent times may seem like a dream machine to me.
