Hello friends.. need some help please.. I would like to know what cable I need to connect my laptop to my new TV?? The laptop is an Acer,, and I can see a 15pin.. blue socket on the side.. the rest are usb.. and phone ones.. and some round pins.. Its a brand new tv.. with all latest connections.. I wish to watch live F1 over the internet on my TV.. and need to know the correct cable to get.

I notice there are different levels of HDMI cables too??? would a cheap one do the job or do I need a higher level one..

    Any advice please..

Does the TV has VGA in (15 pin, blue)? The you can use a normal VGA cable. Mind you, this doesn't carry audio.

Sure the laptop doesn't have HDMI? (looks similar to USB)
