Hi. Looking for advice as I need some new summer tyres for my golf (r15/195/65). Had my winter set on (goodyear ultragrip8 from eiretyres), which were very good in the wet and excellent in the wee bit of snow we got in the Donegal mountains. Anyway my summer rims need new tyres now. Had Kormorans on there, purely cause I had a set before and the wear was great and not too bad in the wet.But the newer Kormorans (directional) I put on weren't as good on wear and worse in the wet. So basically I want a good tyre in terms of wear and performance. I know it can be a trade off between wear and performance, as they don't usually go hand in hand. My car is a Golf mk5 1.4 and I'm not a hard driver.Any recent experience of good performing tyres that also wear well in my size?
