    Brother in law's 93 120bhp, 2005, with 120,000 miles.

The check engine light has come on and the code is p2264.

So far, we have changed battery (this was not holding charge anyway) and have changed the fuel filter ( due anyway).

    The code came back,

so I disconnected the sensor (as I thought we had a spurious reason for the code) and the code still comes back within 10 miles or less.

If the filter is good and there is no water in it, AND, the connector plug is not connected at the moment, can anybody shed some light as to what might be the problem?

I know we could go to a diagnostic specialist but we are hoping to avoid that if at all possible.

    Thanks in advance.

    Richard
