The best laptop out there for under €800??

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to get a laptop for work, mostly internet use/MS Office etc. I want one that is going to last a bit(3-5 years) and one that is not slow and has a decent size memory on it and somewhat lightweight. Any suggestions would be great and much appreciated.

I have been looking at this one too, wondering does anyone have an opinion on it? Thanks.

I'm no expert, you really need Torqay who posts here he knows what he's talking about but that one is i5, 4G ram and only 500G mem and no dedicated graphics card where the one I linked is i7, 8G ram and 1TB mem with dedicated graphics card for E100 less. I think is a better choice.

ya i know its better, i suppose the weight difference is what has me looking at the other one. It would be easier for traveling around.

Mind you, the Core i7 in the Lenovo is only a dual core processor. If i was to spend €800, I'd expect the "real deal", i.e. a quad core CPU, the difference in performance is huge:

Well, I'm not a great fan of the Ultrabooks, they're overhyped, overpriced and underpowerd. Something to show off with at Starbucks but not value for money.
