    Hi Lads

I own an Audi A3 2003 2.0TDI diesel. The larger radiator fan has giving up on it. I've been quoted €360 for a new fan from the main dealer. I was wondering if anyone knew any sites, etc that I could get this part new from for less. I did get a price of €60 for a secondhand one but it has 90k miles on it. Thanks in advance for the help.

    Johnny.

there are actually 4 fans listed...you probably better off ringing with the part number off the old fan

Is the fan definitely gone? I have seen plenty of them mis-diagnosed!

My mechanic diagnosed it. He took it to an auto electrician and was told the motor was burnt out. He was told two resistors were gone too. It seems to be a common problem on these cars. Main dealer have them in stock too (a sure sign that its a common problem).
