    Hey there,

Has anyone here ever built their own console case? Any tips for me? :pac:

Trying to decide between using a double angle case maker to join together the box, or nail sections together and cover with a case angle. Case makers dont seem to come cheap http://www.thomann.de/ie/adam_hall_6107_casemaker.htm

Homemade cases usually look, well, homemade. They're not nailed together - the panels are fitted into the strips, terminated with corners, hardware is fitted and the whole lot is riveted together. You'd need a bunch of tools to do it right: routers, riveters, mitre saws etc.

Flightcase warehouse.co.uk are my goto for cases and they just have a pile of used ones just in. Maybe you'll find one that will fit.
