    As the title says folks,

Just wondering what is the recommended PSI for a Diesel 2 litre Golf with 17" alloys?

ATM my wheel are all on 34psi but i'm reading conflicting numbers regarding tyres sizes etc.

    Any help?

Tyre size makes no difference to pressure. PSI recommendations can usually be found in the owners manual, sticker on the door jam or inside the fuel filler cap. 34psi sounds a bit much unless the car is fully laden.

See i was reading that tyre sizes did matter in some instances! I'll just check the car tonight see what is says in the manual

Assuming they're 225/45/17 32psi is the recommended one I think.

Just checked folks it's 2.5 bar normal load so that's 36psi
