Yup- I was at the Workmens to see him 2nd May last year. TBH I didn't have huge expectations, I saw Green on Red a few times back in the day & was well into them. I listened to his then new album "Temple Beautiful" & was hooked so thought I would go along. It turned out to be one of my gigs of the year! Only about 40 people there but he put on a great show & there was a fantastic "feel-good" vibe to it all. His wife plays keyboards & does backing vocals and it was all very relaxed, though still rocked. New album "Night Surfer" doesn't seem to have as instant an impact as "Temple Beautiful" with me, but I have already bought my tix for 16 Oct anyhow. Looking forward to it

Cleeres in Kilkenny the following night. Temple beautiful is one of his best so night surfer has a big act to follow.

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make the Chuck Prophet gig this Thursday 16/10/14 @ The Workmans Club. I had already bought a ticket in advance & as I doubt I have any chance of selling it, I may as well give it away to a Boardsie. First person who PM's me their e-mail address gets it. It's an e-ticket anyhow so I can just e-mail it on to you.

Well, he sent me a mail alright - no ticket attached mind...

Sorry about that- I am up North this week & for some reason I couldn't send emails properly. I did resend again but looks like that didn't work. Ah well......

managed to get to three of the gigs. dublin was the best of them. john murry appeared for the encore in kilkenny.
