I need to get a concrete slab in my garden for a new shed, but before I start going out to get quotes I was hoping to get an idea of what price range would be considered reasonable.

    The area is 15.5ft x 6ft. Cheers!

Hi MRCHEEZ. Your talking 1.25 cubic metres of concrete
there and it will give you 6 inches dept whitch is plenty.
But if you`ll be driving on it {as in garage}i would go with 4 inches of 804 stone whacked down and use some steel mesh in the concrete.
A metre of concrete will set you bacabout €160
    1 ton 804 stone € 35
    3 x 16ft lengths of 6" x 2 for screeds € 50
This is the kind of job you could do yourself without
    to mutch hastle.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks, but eh, I think I'll leave it to someone more skilled than me :)

So you reckon around €300 including labour?

You should get out for that.

Sorry did you mean I should get "out for that", or get "it for that"?

A metre of concrete will set you bacabout €160

Who is charging €160 per metre of concrete ?!!!??
I paid €56.75 (incl VAT) for ~75m3 of concrete near Athlone in December..... unless you are taking about cost of minimum delivery ?

Does anyone know the final figure I should be looking at , including labour? Cheers.
