    Hi all;

    I was looking on Gumtree and saw the following ad;

    Established by seasoned professionals & returned teachers, Middle Kingdom Teachers have extensive partnerships with universities and schools in China. Prior teaching experience is not necessary, but applicants should be enthusiastic, creative, open-minded, and hold a bachelor's degree.
    Recruitment is now underway for the new September term.

    Foreign language teachers are provided for exceptionally well in China. The benefits include:

    • A good salary to spend a comfortable year in China
    • Reimbursed return flights & working visa
    • Private apartment (inc. bills)
    • Paid holidays
    • Travel opportunities
    • Staff to assist in Ireland & meet you out in China

    The MKT Orientation Week for 2013 will take place at the end of August. This activity is open to all candidates with start dates in September. Includes:
    - TEFL Certification
    - Airport pick-up
    - Accommodation (7 nights)
    - Transportation & activities (inc. field trip & karaoke)
    - Introduction to Life in China
    - Basic Mandarin instruction

    Meanwhile, there'll be plenty of free time to learn some Mandarin as you'll only be teaching between 14-20 hours per week.

    Spending a year as an English teacher has something for everyone. Not only will you add priceless experiences to your CV, you’re sure to have the most interesting year of your life, one that’ll stay with you in whatever you decide to do afterwards.

    So, if you think you fit the bill, we'd like to hear from you. Register your interest and apply now by sending CV and cover letter.

    I have been looking for work in Asia , especially teaching and this seems great, but knowing any ad is designed to spin a positive light on any position , has anyone heard of this before and the reputation of the company etc

    Thanks :)
