Spending money for Cuba?

Just wondering if anyone can help, we're headed to Cuba soon, 3 nights B&B in Havana, and 2 weeks AI in varadero. Trying to work out how much spending money to bring, does anyone have any idea how much food and drinks cost? Not looking for super fancy food, just a good meal and a few cocktails! And if anyone has any recommendations where to eat, we're staying in the Parque Centrale, so anywhere near here. Also, any suggestions of must see/do things would be much appreciated.

    Thanks very much in advance

I was in Cuba last November for 3 weeks travelling around to a few different places. Stayed in Havana for around 6 days in total. Parque Central hotel is very fancy and right in the centre of Havana. You could wander around Old Havana for days and still find new places! Drink is very cheap over there, around €2 for a mojito. There is a nice bar called Floridita, not far from Parque Central, and a few other bars beside it. Live music and salsa dancing there most night, but watch out for the prostitutes!
Didn't go to any restaurants in Havana really as the food ain't anything to write home about. We ate in Casas we were staying in, or you could try one of the many paladers - which is basically eating in someone's house. I'd budget around €10 for lunch and €15 for dinner per day, to include drinks, tip.
You won't need much money in Varadero as it's All Inclusive.
I was there for 3 weeks and spent around €1,000 but that included accommodation and bus travel as well as food and drink.
    Enjoy your trip!
