I have 2003 A6 to scrap, any idea what it would be worth for scrap.

The gearbox ecu is gone, cv joint needs doing, drivers window won't work , needs new tyres and no nct.
    Not worth fixing really.

Ring a scrap yard, they'll tell you what they'll pay you for it.

For metal scrapage 2-300 tops, more if they think they can put it back on the road and you haggle.

Shame really that a 10 year old luxury car is considered an economic write off because its got a few issues that need resolving. Mainly wear and tear items.

It is our incompetent government and the fu*ked up motor tax rates that have ensured this. In many other countries it would most likely be considered insane to be scrapping a 10 year old luxury car because of them issues alone. Ah well...

    Advertise it honestly
    Lists its faults
And put a nice price that reflects its faults
    Still worth more than scrapping

Its funny brand new that would be 50000 today. Gearbox ecu, CV joint and tyres and window repair would be around 2.5k at the most. Still must be worth something. My friend sold one for 5 k around 1 year ago in the North in sterling I think it was the same year 2.5 tdi.
