Hello, I have a Humax HDR 1000 connected to a good 8meg adsl2 connection. My problem is I have quite bad performance with YouTube, movies not loading, when they do they are fine but I have blank screen for 80% of clips, is this a yt issue or a humax issue? Is anyone else getting this issue?

I actually have this issue with iPhone YouTube app as well. Web version fine, app crap.

Bbc iplayer is the same as well. ITV player is flawless, always.

    Thanks.

I have one of these boxes and haven't noticed any issue with YouTube. However, I only use YouTube for short periods and I haven't used it to look at a full length movie yet. I do get the odd freeze for a few seconds, but my broadband is only 3mb, but it's pretty good otherwise. I do use the ITV Player and have no problems with it. I'm not sure what is causing your problems.

You know what it is? UTV!! F*ck me, what a mess, they choke me every evening to 0.6mbps and even when it's not chocked during the day, when we don't use it, nothing works, in the process of complaining in the hope of changing ISP. This day and age, this kind of carry is a joke!!!

I've one of the HDR boxes too and a UPC connection - which proxy did you use to get BBC & ITV player going? - I didn't have much joy

UTV is sorted now for me. It's turbo all the time.

You can use a couple. Unblock Us, < I think they are over capacity and BBC iPlayer sucks on this service. I use UnoTelly for me it seems it's turbo all the time, even streaming HD.
