Hard drive on laptop

I'm trying to install Autodesk Revit and the hard drive fills up before it finishes. I've gone into the C Drive to see what I can delete but I'm not sure what files I can delete. There are three big folders that take up 45GB on the C Drive; Windows, Program Files and Doc and Settings.

Is there a way I can clean up the C Drive and delete files I don't need?

Install and run ccleaner. It'll remove a lot of old temp files that have accumulated on your machine.

Do not delete stuff at random. The Windows folder is where the bulk of your operating system is installed. Program files is where other software is installed. Use the control panel to uninstall software, you can't simply delete it from this folder.

How big is your hard drive? Do you have another partition to put stuff on?
