I am seriously considering to buy this 08 Prius...

    http://www.carzone.ie/search/Toyota/Prius/T3-1.5-V/3413289558467790/advert?channel=CARS

Looking at T3, I believe this is UK import. But it has full service history. Is there any thing I should be concerned about before buying this car? Please suggest.

Particularly, is there any disadvantage buying UK import?

    Thanks.

You would probably end up better to import one from UK yourself. (better I mean cheaper + smaller chance to get a clocked one).

The Toyota battery hybrid warranty is for 100k miles or 8 years whichever is sooner provided it has a full Toyota service history.

The mileage is high for a 2008 ,81k and some UK imports are known to have clocked, ref AA Ireland.

Best to Motorcheck it for its UK history also.

What kind of warranty is the dealer offering?

There is no real disadvantage in buying a UK import, most dealers are selling imports now anyways. The advantages are that the UK cars usually have a better service history and the UK cars sometimes have a better spec.
The miles are usually higher on the UK cars but they are doing more motorway miles so there is less wear on the cars.
The spec for the UK Toyota starts at T2 and goes up to T3, T4 and then T-spirit so just watch out for the different specs.
There is one on donedeal with the same mileage with a better spec for less money...

As already said the hybrid battery warranty is for 100k miles or eight years and they give very little trouble.
