    Just came accros very intresting airport in Scotland which is certified by CAA for commercial operations.

    Used regularly by BA and Flybe.

    Yep the only airport where flights are effected by the times of the tides !


    Been operating for years.

    Its just been Loganair the entire time as far as I'm aware - formerly a BA franchisee, now a Flybe one.

    Maybe if we had good beaches like that, we could've considered something similar rather than building a runway for every island in the west, I'm looking at you Inisboffin 'Airport'..

    Most of the islands that could justify air service don't have decent enough beaches. Nearly every other island in Scotland has a proper sealed strip.
