Wedding/Church Singer

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We am getting Married on the 13th September 2013 in Edenderry. We will be having a small intimate ceremony of 50 people.

We are looking for a wedding singer to preform for our Wedding Ceremony.

I play and also sing so the music element is very important to me.

We are also on a tight budget.

Any Suggestions are greatly welcomed.

singer alone you're looking at 200-250. with accompanying musician maybe 400-450

this is going rate for most, some of the better ones cost more.. If your having it in a church the priest will have a book of singers who are local to get best value. Suggest ringing them.

Hi I hear Aoife O'Neill in cork is meant to be fab but I cannot find her on the internet or see any details for her anywhere so if anyone has any info....please forward!!! I also think Gemma Sugrue is amazing

when we did the whole church thing I was so disappointed as we could not find a musician and just used the church one who was fine but her list was short and she was in no way as good at performing as what I was used to.

Check out www. ChurchMusic.ie, covers the whole country I think, I would recommend Eugene Ginty, I've heard him several times and he would be my choice when the big day comes !!!!

We used Claire O'Loughlin are our wedding on the 05th July. She was just brilliant! She has a huge list of songs to choose from and was willing to learn 2 new songs that had special meaning to me. You can hear samples of her songs on her website www.claireoloughlin.com It's definitely worth talking to her before you compile your list as she has great experience and will definitely make some suggestions that you would never have thought about.
