Shower issues

    Hello
i am having ongoing issues with my shower unit , it is either too hot or too cold , ive changed the thermostat twice with no luck , you can get the temp to where you want it by turning the regulator ever so slightly in either direction , but usually at the expense of some pressure .
I am using an immersion for hot water and cold tank in the attic for cold , because of very bad water pressure i have installed a pump to feed the shower , if its not the thermostat , what else could be the issue ?
    Cheers in advance
    BRIAN

If the issue has always been like that and from your picture and description it could be reversed plumbed, that would give you those symptoms

have you a lot of lime in your water?
take off the shower head and run it for a while?
is there hard bits of lime coming out when you do so?
