Friarylaw New York Bar Course

Does anyone have experience doing the New York Bar course with Friarylaw? I had planned on doing the FE1's but over the last year I've become more interested in emigrating as the legal sector is in such a bad way over here.

I would love to be able to practice in the states - I have lost almost all interest in staying in Ireland. One thing that I find appealing is that if it all works out, I could be a qualified lawyer as early as February next year. I realize I would likely have to do an LLM in the US after passing the bar but I feel that it's worth considering.

So, does anyone know more about this? I want to find out as much as I can about it, positives and negatives.

    Thanks in advance.

Realistically a JD would be a better option as LLMs are not really regarded by US law firms. They are more of revenue source for law schools.

I know this topic has been flogged to death at this stage but I am thinking of doing the New York Bar next February and just wanted to get some recent feedback on the difficulty of the exams (if working full time and studying) and whether people would recommend doing a prep course? I also see ppl have said that they self studied - are there lectures/materials online you can get for free?

    Any guidance much appreciated!!
