    Hi guys,

Bought a second hand car and just got the log book in the post but it has the wrong address on it. The post code is way off. Should I send it back to get it corrected? Is there a cost to getting this done?

    thanks
    Emc2

If it got to you it can't be that wrong or are you in an area which AnPost gives a different code to the one the locals rather?

Shouldn't be major issue to change. Either drop down to a tax office or IIRC you can change the address yourself on the online motor tax site, if tax is due shortly.

Dublin1, Dublin4 etc I call them post codes maybe not the right term.

It's a case where it has:

    House Number correct
    Building Name slightly wrong
    Street correct
Post Code totally wrong (i think it has Dublin 3 instead of Dublin 8)
