    Hi all,

I'm just wondering about competency based interviews, I know what they are about, I had one recently and thought it went well up until i had a roleplay to perform. I unfortunately stammered and muttered my way through it - lost my nerve, got very self consious of my own voice. Think I lost the interview - any hints on how to get over this? It is'nt the first time it has happened either!!! Very embarrassed and annoyed at myself - just wondering if it has happened anyone else??? Any advice is helpfull.:mad:

    Practise ,practise and more practise.

Script the answers to questions that are around the competency's from the job description. Have an example for each skill. Get a camera and record yourself.

Play it back and see what your body language is like.
