yeah you can do that (butnot the other way round) Theres a fee,I'm guessing €200 as it used to be €50 when the VRT was that

Don't know how it works now but I did it at the revenue office around 2 years ago and wait for it .... there was no fee !!

TBH in this country you could probably get away with just changing the plate on the car.
