I fully agree with him that Fallon Fox should not be fighting women. Her bone structure, muscle mass, etc gives her an uncompetitive advantage. Calling her a disgusting freak however is completely out of line imo.

Fallon Fox has become the most annoying topic in MMA in a long time. She wins two fights against poor opponents. Then purposely comes out as a transgender fighter trying to get into the UFC. Now a whole debate has started whether women fighters at the top level would wan to fight her. Miesha Tate said no, she wouldn't and some else said it aswell.

It was the second question asked today (to Alexis Davis) at the UFC 161 press conference. I seriously hope Fox looses soon, so the press will shut up about her.

Ya Fallon Fox should be accepted into society as a female but as a female fighter no way , I think the issue here is (in interview) he keeps refering to her as him witch AH points out aswell along with the obvious freak comments he is also shown sluggin beer onscreen could have played a major part in him not holding back his opinions.

Completly out of order from him, the issue is a big talking point at the mo and he just didnt go about giving his 2 cents in a correct manner I think it would be real harsh if this led to being cut also I actually like mma hour nd hope the incident does not have a negative impact on that either (fighters cautious to come on etc.)

Although I disagree with Mittriones comments when you read how Ronda Rousey sums him up you can see his point.

IF you are of the opinion that a transgender IS still a man you would be appalled and sickened about them beating up a woman for a living?

Matt holds that opinion whether people think he is right or not. But he has gone overboard on a topic he seemed quite emotional about.

He should've been a bit more political with his response. Dana is begging for excuses to cut fighters these days so I'd say his days are numbered. (I say that as a Dana fan btw)

I don't think he will. People love meathead cuz he's a loveable fool. He'll be told to make an apology and hopefully we'll hear nothing more of it

I can't believe how many people have gotten into trouble about this when they had no place commenting in the first place. I agree she shouldn't be fighting girls' but why have fighters or even Dana given their stance on it. She has no affiliation with the UFC. Why would you promote a fighter in another organisation by talking about them.

Because theyre involved in the sport. Just cuz a cyclist has not raced in the Tour de France doesnt mean they can't comment on Lance Armstrong publicly

I think he thought he was being somewhat funny and it has backfired on him. "Sociopath", "disgusting freak". Pretty strong language. Mitrionne made a bit of a fool of himself in this methinks.

I think he started off trying to make a firm point and then got angry thinking about it. And he clearly didn't have enough wit to know when to STFU.

Public apology and slap on the wrists, and back to trying to put this FF farce to rest. Whatever measures a person takes to be at peace with themselves, great, fair play and good luck. But when a person is a man for 30 years, they cannot expect to get into a cage and fight women just because certain chemical balances and levels have been altered to be similar to the women they are fighting.

I'm all for anything that makes this person feel accepted and comfortable in life, but I draw the line at anything that involves women being beaten in the process.

You cannot argue for political correctness over a womans safety.

And I can see why he got mad. He's Meathead and all this conflicting thought make him smash. :)

He did go over the top but a suspension is too much.

It's an example of why I dislike the way the UFC treats fighters. It's great that we get to see the best fighters fighting each other regularly but the fighters have no pull. They're world class athletes fighting for the best promotion in the world but they stil have no power and are treated like employees. Thats a whole other can of beans to be talking about though.

Fallon fox is back in the news after she destroyed her latest opponent. With brents saying

" I’ve fought a lot of women and have never felt the strength that I felt in a fight as I did that night. I can’t answer whether it’s because she was born a man or not because I’m not a doctor. I can only say, I’ve never felt so overpowered ever in my life and I am an abnormally strong female in my own right,” she stated. “Her grip was different, I could usually move around in the clinch against other females but couldn’t move at all in Fox’s clinch…”

“I still disagree with Fox fighting,” Brents stated. “Any other job or career I say have a go at it, but when it comes to a combat sport I think it just isn’t fair. At least not until we have more scientific proof that it is or isn’t fair. More research is needed for sure. Like I said, I am not a doctor, I can only say my opinion and I don’t believe that she should be allowed to fight other women. If it were strictly BJJ or wrestling or something like that sure, but MMA is a completely different sport."

Brent suffered a concussion, broken orbital and needed 7 stitches in just over 2 minutes of combat. I personally think Fox shouldn't be fighting as her bone structure gives her an advantage

Have you seen the Video Ray?

In the thai clinch she really rag dolled her it looked like. Brents also had a reputation for being a very strong woman for the division.

Rousey recently said she wouldn't fight Fox. Fox went ahead to say that women should be mentally tougher and fight a trans woman just as they'd fight "a lebian woman or a black woman".

I think Fallon is completely missing the point here. The colour of your skin or sexual orientation give no advantage the way being a man against a woman does, no matter how far into the transformation Fox is.

Women can't fight men in MMA. There are many reasons why and some of them are because men and women are just so different physically. Obviously transgendered fighters are very different physically too.
