    Hi guys
Bit desperate,I was trying to make gmail my default mail on outlook.Managed to delete options/mail in the registry by accident! I was following the following instructions.....
To force all new messages to use the default account, browse to the following registry subkey in Outlook 2010 and add a DWORD named NewItemsUseDefaultSendingAccount:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Options\Mail
    DWORD value: NewItemsUseDefaultSendingAccount
    Value: 1

Is there any means of correcting this mistake??
    Selig

if you aren't sure what you are doing then do a system restore

Try and uninstall then re-install Outlook. Might rewrite your funked up registry keys.

Revert to a previous restore point.
