Plate for cleats Shimano SPD shoes?

    I am looking at getting a pair of these:
    Shimano M064 MTB SPD Shoes
    and these:
    Shimano M520 Clipless SPD MTB Pedals

    From what I can gather, the pedals come with cleats included, but my question is about the threaded plate which the cleat should screw in to, is this part of the shoe or should it be bought separately. I cant see it in the pictures of the shoes

    I'm pretty sure it'll come with the pedals. I use SPDs on my commuter, and I've never had to buy the plate separately. Don't even know if they sell them separately!

    The plates normally come with the cleats, so if the cleats are included, I'd guess they would be to:
