    I'm looking to pick up a diesel car for around 1000 euro or less where would be the best place? Donedeal, carzone ,auctions?? Or anybody know any dealers in dublin meath area that would have a selection of old cars?

    For only a €1000 your better off buying private and on donedeal.

    Dealers won't be cheap. Theres a 99 406 TD for sale for ages in Navan from TMC, asking 1400 for it (to be fair it is a beautiful example of 1)

    Best advice I can give is go private and be prepared to spend even more money on it on faults you didn't account for

    Anything diesel available from a dealer for €1k is most likely muck or needs alot of work done on it. Also diesels are in demand and even rough ones tend to sell for upwards of €1k. You really need to know your stuff when looking in this price range.
