Heard this on the radio today for the first time, seems like a good idea but not sure if it will actually make a difference.
Each Wednesday the RSA airs a new radio ad featuring Road Safety statistics, you can listen to these here.
Listen back function on their website:> http://www.rsa.ie/en/Utility/News/Weekly-Radio-stats/

Today is the third week apparently, started on the 18th of March.

I wonder will it include the number of meetings the RSA had in the previous week with lobbyists to discuss yet another modification to the NCT and/or car import regulations to line the pockets of the motor trade and screw the motorist?

God I hate that accent in the top one.

Not a whole lot of info there really is there? Points (for what?), drink driving arrests (but only suspicion of) and deaths, with nothing to explain them, the 4 people killed could have been suicides for all we know and therefore totally irrelevant.

They should also include a statistic of the week, like what % of cars that had broken lights or how many million cyclists ran through red lights or the number of camera vans sited on straight open roads.

You'd have to wonder if this isn't the RSA trying to justify their salaries existence?
