Fascinating reading about Bernard Jackman at Grenoble doing so well, fair play
Any other Irish people like that gone abroad to learn the trade, way this country going they could all end up there soon
Also any players in france or further afield, Sexton and obvious aside that is, suppose like McGeady in soccer in Russia

every aspiring rugby coach should at the very least spend some time abroad, even if its just visits and doing research.

Fair few players in England LI have 6 or 7, Buckley in Sale Leicster has Morris and one or two in the academy, Sheriff at Sarries, and a smattering across the championship.

    Joe Hart (9/10) in Grenoble.

    Duncan Casey is in Spain.

Ed O'Donoghue has gone back to Oz but since he is originally from there he doesn't count.

In terms of coaches there is O'Shea in Quins and McCall in Sarries.

Eamonn Sheridan has signed with London Irish, having gone to Rotheram last year to continue his career. Seems to have worked out well for him so far

    WOW great response lads
Wonder if the same trend will leak into other sports such as soccer etc
Aussie rules fascinating but amazed if sports escapes the recession
Defo think it adds so much to their CV to work abroad as coaches and players and can only help, shame the IRFU dont think so or see the holisitic picture for a player!

Former Munster back Declan Cusack is playing with Basque side Gernika in the Spanish league! I saw his name on an Amlin scores round up a while back.

EDIT: Just done a search to double check and he's actually moved to Plymouth Albion in the RFU Championship.
