I'm organizing a golf outing to Moyvalley G.C in May. The prices for both food and golf are very reasonable. I've played it a number of years back, just after it opened and thought it in very good knick. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it's still up to the same standard.

    Many Thanks

    Ray

Not sure if it's as good as that, but played it last winter and everyone really enjoyed it, some great holes, the 18th is a belter. I'd book away.

Sand based so it doesn't get too soggy.

    Many thanks

I played it on Monday, its in good knick....they did some work on it lately so most of the soggy patches from the greens to the next tee are gone.

The 16th hole is also a great hole, the massive greenside bunker is still out of play, work being done on it because it was always flooded.

Thanks for that information. Did you eat there? If so, how did you find it?

    Regards

I never had anything to eat there but I usually play there on mondays or tuesdays and the bar and restaurant are closed those days.

    Wee bump.

Thinking of playing here next week, has anyone played here recently, if so what condition is the course in these days?

    Thanks.

Its in good nick, greens running at a good pace and they've done a good bit of work on the bunkers over the course of this year. They've also recently cut back some of the heavy rough on the back 9 (took some baled silage off it), which is no harm but its a bit more open than it would otherwise be off the tee. There's a good bit of society traffic through there at times so the greens can be a little overworked in spots.

    Cheers Bob.

I seen alot of reviews from people and they all said the bunkers were terrible, so good to hear they've done something about it.

Sure i'll bring my bucket and spade just in case !
