hi am working for a company and was on a 6 month contract and when that one was up i got a new 6 month contract do i get any holidays as most of the other staff are permanent and get holidays and the others on contracts usually get let go at the end of the first contract. so can any one tell me if i got holiday and how…

You accrue holidays; that means if you've not taken any at the end of the contract they have to be paid. Assuming full time 40h week you're looking at 1.67 days of holidays per full month; if you work part time calculate it at 8%.

Note the above assumes your company pays the PRSI etc. for you and that you're not a hired contract on a daily rate or similar.
