    Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for where to see sketch or improv comedy in Dublin?

I've searched around and found one or two, but its seems to be mysteriously under the radar, any suggestions welcome!

There's quiet a lot of Improv in Dublin. Every monday in the International and every Friday in the Bankers. There's often an improv Troupe on the Lineup in the Battle of The Axe in the Ha'Penny Bridge Inn on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Sketch comedy wise, keep an eye out for Foil Arms and Hogg.

Yeah I've seen some great stuff in the International, and I only just noticed posters for Bankers yesterday, so that'll be next on my list.
Thanks for the Foil Arms and Hog recommendation too!

I wonder if there's any improv/sketch groups on the go that people know and like?

I'm performing in an improv show with Coastbusters Comedy Improv on Thursday 25th April in McGrattan's Bar.

Its a completely different style of improv than what you will find in the International or the Bankers. We do improvised songs and scenes and we have a number of show formats. Next week we are doing a Sinners format whereby our show is inspired by audience confessions.

I also have a kind of solo improv show as well as teaching improv etc.
