Using Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd for Sports Photography

Am planning on using this camera of mine that I've had since college, 7 years ago, at my local GAA club's games to take photos for the website I run for the club. I am looking for a lens that I can add to take sharper, close-up photos from distance. I'm not sure if there is one, as this camera has a fixed lens.

Can anyone on here offer me advice on what I can do or if there is a lens they can recommend me to buy. Thanks.

What's your Budget ?

The s6500 is a fixed lens camera so can't be upgraded.
To be honest If you're looking for a cheap camera that would be good for sports I'd look at something like the Nikon V1

Sensor is a bit small but you can take up to 60fps !!!! crazy speed so great for sports.

How about this lens? I know it's as expensive as the camera you've mentioned, but I'm not going to get feck all if I trade in my current camera, if anyone would even want it.

Will that even fit your camera ? It's just a telephoto conversion lens ? 2.2x your current zoom . Would look pretty strange on the camera you have I think.
Maybe look at something like this then instead.
