Large road bike wanted. 57/58cm

I am posting this for a mate.
He is looking for a good second hand road bike that he will use for a daily circa 40km round trip commute. Dublin based.
He can't do bike to work.
His budget is 400 - 500 euro.

How about this Retro puppy? :cool:

Large lightweight Harding frame with reynolds 531 tubing, Shimano 600 derailleurs & chainwheel, Shimano 105 brakes, campagnolo shifters, Selle Italia turbo saddle. continental Gatorskin tyres with fuull treads. In excellent condition - no exaggeration but has been in a shed for a long time; I am about to clean properly.

I will swap for a Garmin 500 with HRM & Cadence!

I have an old la Pierre road bike. Aluminium frame, full carbon fork, Tiagra 9 speed triple group set. I am 6'3" and the frame is a 58 and suited me fine. Looking for €400. I can post a picture later on.

ive a 58cm carrera zelos aluminium road bike for sale. this bike was bought just before christmas and has never left the house-its brand new, still with protective wrapping. warranty applies, computer and bottle holder fitted. paid €440 but would accept €350

Upon consultation with my mate the budget has been increased to €600.
Surely someone has a bike suitable for that kind of money.
