Me, my two sisters and niece (5 years old) are thinking of holidaying in France/Italy for a week this Summer. We are at the research stage and would love some recommendations. We are looking for some sun, sea & culture. Would renting a villa be a good option and where would we get a good selection. What regions of these countries could ye recommend? Thanks

I would be interested in hearing peoples ideas on this too. I would also be happy if anyone has ideas on some nice parts of Spain too.

    Thanks

We go nearly every year to italy and sometimes france.

Try agriturismo for italy accomodation and ownersdirect is very good also.

On a personal note - the top north west of italy was the nicest holiday i've been on recently. Stayed in an agriturismo property in Diana Marino. Nice seaside village and a beautiful coastal drive to the neighbouring villages. The nicest was Alassio - truly gorgeous town.

    Hope this helps.
