    I have a billpay phone xperia rey with meteor. How can I get it unlocked?

    I unlocked my old phone by asking O2 for the code .

    I assume once your out of contract with them you own the phone . All i had to provide was the IMEI number . got a mail next day.

    meteor should have a similar service. (I would think )

    Have you tried it with another providers sim yet? I got three phones with them on bill pay and they were all unlocked even though I was told each time that they were locked. They were all HTC so may have been something to do with it.

    Otherwise just ask customer service when you are due an unlock.
