Paypal negative balance

    I have a negative balance of 200euro do I have to pay this or can I just leave it?

    Yes, you'll have to pay the outstanding balance but if it's only a small amount they'll hardly chase you for it. I'm not sure if they are authorised to just debit your bank account but they'll have your details, address, etc. so you won't be able to use that PayPal account for further purchases. Probably best to remove your credit card from that account also if you don't intend to pay the balance.

    Well why would he have a negative balance? Either a a payment failed or someone opened up a claim on money he withdrew.

    I'd assume it is the latter tbh, and as most sellers of one off items would probably withdraw their funds straight after the sale, I'd imagine it is a regular occurence
