Specialised bike repairs for kmx trike

    Hey all.
I recently bought a second hand kmx tornado recumbent trike that needs some attention. Problem is, it quite a specialised bike. Most bicycle repair shops will never have seen one, let alone serviced one.
Looking for advice on where to take it. They don't necessarily have to be familiar with the bike. (After all its just a variation of a push bike) they just need to be really good at what they do. I mean they should really know their s**t.
i.e. not some part time Halfords employee
    I live in Dublin.
    Cheers.

Also, anybody know where I could buy a catrike in Ireland? (Northern or republic)
    Don't fancy going to London.

There's plenty of highly skilled bike mechanics in Dublin. They have been listed out on this forum umpteen times before, do a search.

What exactly is wrong with it that needs attention?

Most regulars on this forum can personally vouch for a user here called Holyboy, who runs the shop Bee cycles down in Dolphin's Barn. I'm sure he can fix anything that could be wrong with the trike - if he cannot, i'm sure he'd be first to say so.

Yep, Holyboy/Bee Cycles would get my vote for something like this....

Thanks guys. Will look them up. The main issue I have with the bike is the gears. The rattle and don't change very smoothly or cleanly. The chain tends to slip over the top cog in the lowest gear.

Hey guys. Just wanted to thank you for the reference. I took the trike over to Bee cycles and I'm delighted I did. Dara did an excellent job at a fair price. I'd be happy to recommend this shop to anybody.
