no home & away on UPC rte player

    Home away& away is not up on rte player on UPC but it is on the rte player online.... anyone know why ? I emailed rte but they havent replied

    It is more than likely down to a licensing deal- the specifics of which I don't have right now.

    I'll try look into the exact details within the content agreement, but it could be down to the fact that the network (7 - Australia) permit online replay, but not on-demand TV.

    Will investigate.

    would love to know the answer to this as well as I love this show and cant watch at half 6. The online version rarely works for me does anyone else have this problem ????

    Yeah, as suspected: it appears that it is a licensing thing.
    As far as it seems, such functionality requires an additional payout from the network.
