Libraries: A Writer's royalty?

Are there any published writers here whose work is available in public libraries. I recently self-published a book and already see it in a public library. I have a vague memory hearing writers I supposed to get a small royalty for the book when its available like this. Is this true? Does anybody know any further details on…
