    Hi there,

I am after accepting a job in Tralee and I live in Killarney. The position is based in the Kerry Technology Park and the thing is I have a provisional licence and I am waiting to do my test so I can't drive over and back until I get my full licence.

I can get the bus from Killarney at 8am but I start work at 9am and its a good walk from the bus station in Tralee to the technology park and the same in the evening as I will finish at 5.30pm and the bus leaves at 5.50pm.

Does anyone know or know of someone that would be interested in giving me a lift over and back and I will pay for the fuel costs etc. It would only be for a month or so until I get the full licence sorted.

If anyone wanted to PM me, I can give more details.

    Cheers

Denny drive away on your provisional, you would want to meet a right bollox of a guard to fine you.

A friend of mine at work drives from limerick city to abbeyfeale daily on a provisional was stopped twice and nothing was said.

Get the bus but bring a bike with you. You would make the IT no prob within 15 mins on a bike from the station.
If its only for a month it's not reall issue, is it?

That's what I am going to do, I am going to buy a fold up bike and away I go.

    Thanks for the replies.

I would have thought there'd be a stream of cars going over and back, and many delighted with a bit of company and to share the cost of fuel. Course trying to actually hook up with them might be a problem. Would you put an ad up in Tesco, Dunnes, Supervalu and in Advertiser?

There are busses running straight up to the I.T from killarney and will collect you again afterwards.
