1st off do you have 2 feeds from your LNB to the Duo?
If you do thats the 1st bridge crossed ;)
I'm going to assume that you are just using 28.2e(Sky) so next step is to go to Menu>Setup>Service searching>Tuner Configuration.
Then its just a matter of setting your Tuner A to single and 28.2, then you set tuner B as single and you can set it as either ''equal to Tuner A'' or as 28.2 aswell tho this means it will scan the satellite twice.

Viewing sky using the vu+ duo connected to the internet is cardsharing and talking about it is not allowed on boards.

Having this ongoing issue with fix on vu duo. From time to time the TV simply goes black for a couple of seconds. Its very similar to the TV simply turning off and back on again. Now I know in av setting the vix team has suggested not using the multi option so I have toggled between 50hz and 60hz but problem is still there. I know from many years of vu duo use that this is a vix TV HDMI issue. I assume it must be some incompatibility of the vix hDMI driver with the current standards. Anyone seen similar?

i had that, i figured out it was my 5.1 surround system causing the problem. rejigged the cables around and its fine since.

thanks a million. had posted on the world-of satellite forum with no luck. as you suggest the problem was the cabling with the surround sound. very happy :-)

surround sound cables had the HDMI cable going from duo to TV stretched. once I released the cable no further problem. many thanks for help. had honestly thought it was a vix HDMI standards issue

is there some way of having a single feed from satellite to tuner a and pass thru to tuner b without physical second cable?

i dont think you can do that as it due the polarization of H and V.
