    Hi all,
    I have a Dell Inspiron since 2010 running Windows 7.
    My PC has gone very sluggish. Firefox regularly says 'not responding'; When listening to itunes or youtube, the audio freezes (that weird robotic sound); opening a word document takes too long.
    I've tried running defrag, system cleaners; a plethora of anti-virus cleaners.
    I don't have any McAfee or Norton running in the background; my computer is running pretty lean. They helped somewhat, but not near enough.
    I've thought about restoring my PC to factory settings. Is this possible with a recovery section in my HD (I've attached a screen grab of 'my computer' to double-check with you all if I actually do have a partition drive).

    Would this help my problem, or does anyone know of any other miracle cures?

    Yes.

    Depending on your model use CTRL + F11 during the POST screen or hit F8 right after it to bring up the boot menu. Select Repair Computer, and then DELL Factory Recovery. Follow the instructions. Make sure to backup your personal files.
