    Hi Guys,
I have an acer 5920g laptop, and now when i turn up the sound
when watching anything, it starts screeching, so i have to turn it down. Also ive noticed if i tap the lid of the laptop, it has same affect as tapping a microphone.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
    Cheers

Mute your microphone in your sound playback settings. Click the speaker icon in the notification area to find it.

Right click speaker icon, Select recording devices.
For microphone, right click, properties, listen tab,
    uncheck 'listen to this device'

do the same for Line in, also mix or loopback if its there.
